Sheds a nasty gritty powdery residue
I’ve bought three of these, thought they were great to start with but then we noticed a horrid residue everywhere coming from them. It came off in drifts when it was shaken. All over bedside tables, and tangibly on the bedding underneath. Now washed twice, they are marginally better but still leave the powder. Goodness knows what it is - were they padded with stuff off the factory floor, I wonder? What has breathing that stuff in done to our health? I would like to send them back as they are not fit for purpose and possibly unsafe.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about the amount of residue coming from your bedspreads and completely understand why this would have been concerning.
We’ve raised this directly with the supplier, who has confirmed that the residue is linked to the stone-washing process used to create the bedspread’s intended finish. The fabrics used are also tested for harmful substances in line with certification requirements.
The supplier is investigating this further to help prevent the same issue occurring in future production. We’re sorry again for the inconvenience and concern this has caused.
