What a waste
I ordered two king size fitted sheets, firstly when I opened the package the smell was awful, a super strong chemical smell (probably the dye but not really reassuring to be honest) and for having had sateen sheets for a while, these are probably the least soft I have ever had. Once I washed, as per instruction, the sheet was difficult to put on our mattress and after the 2nd wash I literally had to battle to make it fit. Massively shrunk in 2 washes at 30°. I thought I was doing a good deed buying a British brand and considering the price that I'd get some quality bedding. Couldn't be more wrong, I got a better and actually soft sateen sheet from Asda for half the price. Absolute waste of money.
