If you’re looking to add some extra festive cheer to your home this Christmas, here’s our round-up of this year’s biggest trends and how to style them.

Dear Santa Duvet Cover Set

With Christmas just around the corner, it won’t be long until you’re climbing into the attic and digging through last year’s Christmas decorations. But with sparkles and sequins at every turn, we wouldn’t blame you for wanting to add a few more to your collection. Looking for inspo? You’ve come to the right place! Here’s our list of the biggest Christmas decor trends for 2025…

1. Adorable Bows

Bows have soared in popularity over the last couple of years and are set to continue as a huge decor trend this Christmas. If you fancy trying your hand at some DIY, buy some ribbon from your local haberdashery, create a bow and attach it to a candlestick or Christmas tree as decoration. Can’t be bothered? This adorable tea towel with an embroidered bow will make the perfect addition to your kitchen.

2. Bold Stripes

Let’s be honest, stripes never go out of fashion, but this year it’s all about bold colour combos. Red and pink have been a firm favourite throughout 2025, especially with a rise in popularity of colour clashing and maximalist design. If candy cane-style decor tickles your fancy (it’s Christmas, OF COURSE it does), this playful cushion will add a trendy twist to your festive decor.

3. Colourful Stars

Stars and Christmas go together like pigs and blankets. Original? Maybe not. But gone are the days of hanging a gold star in your window and calling it a day. This year it’s all about colour, so why not add some pizzazz to your bedroom with this statement Dear Santa duvet cover set? After all, 'tis the season to be jolly… and bedding doesn’t get much jollier than this!

4. Ralph Lauren Christmas

If you’ve been scrolling social media recently, you’ve probably come across the next trend to take the internet by storm - Ralph Lauren Christmas. This aesthetic combines nostalgia with old-money charm, inspired by the American designer and his love of British heritage style. Think forest green, navy and burgundy blended with tartan, wool, velvet and leather. If tradition and luxury are your vibe, jump on the trend with the Braemar check duvet cover set.

5. Simple Scandi

Scandi is a consistent trend we see every year - and for good reason. If you prefer a more neutral and minimalist aesthetic, take inspiration from the Nordics this Christmas and opt for whitewashed woods, chunky knit throws and lush green garlands. These wood tree ornaments fit the trend perfectly and would look great on a mantlepiece or sideboard.

6. Nutcrackercore

Nutcracker Cushion

On the opposite end of the spectrum we have ‘nutcrackercore’ - a term coined to describe the latest whimsical Christmas trend. Traditional dolls like nutcrackers, toy soldiers and ballerinas are all the rage right now, particularly if you love a ‘more is more’ approach to Christmas decor. If your shelves are already full with wooden figurines, continue the trend on your sofa with this classic nutcracker cushion.

7. Nostalgic Gingerbread

And finally, everyone’s favourite Christmas biscuit… it’s gingerbread season! If you’re a kid at heart, embrace the nostalgia with this playful trend - complete with childlike gingerbread in silly santa hats. This adorable festive gingerbread cushion should do the trick. Looking for something a bit more grown up? From dinner plates to ornamental houses, there’s plenty of piped icing designs that give a similar vibe.
