Ottoman Beds

An ottoman bed helps you use the space under your mattress for the things you don’t need every day. The base lifts to reveal hidden storage underneath, giving you a handy spot for spare bedding, blankets, towels and out-of-season clothes.

Before you choose, think about how you’ll access the storage. Some ottoman storage beds lift from the side, while others open from the foot end, so check what will work best with your layout. You’ll need enough room to stand, lift the base and reach inside without bumping into walls or nearby furniture.

Ottomans are especially useful in bedrooms where extra storage is hard to fit in. Instead of adding another large piece of furniture, you can use the space under your bed for bulkier items, then keep everyday bits in a bedside table or chest of drawers.

The mattress matters too. A heavier mattress can make the lift feel different, so always check the product details and make sure your chosen mattress is suitable for the frame. Many of our ottoman beds are self assembly, so give yourself enough space to build the bed and test the lift before styling the room around it.
